37% potassium oxide (K2O) (= 30.7% K) soluble in water
7% calcium oxide (CaO) (= 5.7% Ca) soluble in water
2.4% magnesium oxide (MgO) (= 1.7% Mg) soluble in water
20% sulfur trioxide (SO₃) (= 9.2% S) soluble in water
MacroSpeed® Potas Plus is a mineral fertiliser produced by ICL Group for CALDENA, based on a polyhalite-enriched formulation that provides a natural source of potassium (K), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg) and sulphur (S) for balanced and efficient crop nutrition.
The fertiliser supports plant water balance, playing a key role in stomatal regulation and osmotic control. Adequate potassium supply helps crops mitigate abiotic stress, particularly soil drought and low temperatures, enabling plants to maintain physiological activity under unfavourable growing conditions.
MacroSpeed® Potas Plus increases the yield-forming efficiency of nitrogen by improving nitrogen uptake and utilisation within the plant. Balanced potassium, magnesium and sulphur nutrition supports photosynthesis, protein synthesis and energy transfer, contributing to efficient biomass production.
The polyhalite-based nutrient composition improves plant resistance to lodging and pathogen pressure by strengthening cell walls and supporting structural stability. Calcium enhances tissue strength, while potassium supports enzyme activation and natural defence mechanisms.
MacroSpeed® Potas Plus also extends the period of assimilate production, maintaining active photosynthesis for longer and supporting sustained yield formation. Regular application contributes to higher yields and improved crop uniformity.

Polyhalite-enriched formulation based on a natural mineral source of potassium, calcium, magnesium and sulphur
Four essential nutrients in one granule
Prolonged sulphur release with reduced leaching losses
Designed for efficient dissolution in water
Uniform granules with a bulk density of 1,200 kg/m³
Suitable for pre-sowing and top-dressing applications across all crop species, allowing flexible use throughout the growing season. It is particularly recommended for soils with low or very low levels of plant-available potassium and sulphur, as well as for crops with high nutritional requirements for these elements, where balanced nutrient supply is essential for optimal growth, stress tolerance and yield formation.
