Agravita® Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate is a high-purity macronutrient fertiliser supplying readily available magnesium (Mg) and sulphur (S) for balanced crop nutrition.
Magnesium plays a key role in chlorophyll synthesis and photosynthesis, supporting efficient energy production and leaf development, particularly during critical growth stages. This contributes to improved crop vigour, yield potential and quality.
The fertiliser supports root system function and nutrient uptake, while balanced magnesium and sulphur supply enhances nitrogen use efficiency, contributing to effective biomass production. Agravita® Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate also helps crops cope with abiotic stress, including drought and temperature extremes, by supporting physiological balance under unfavourable conditions.
The product’s coarse crystalline form ensures rapid and complete water solubility, while its high chemical purity allows versatile use in foliar application, fertigation and soil application. Agravita® Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate may be applied throughout the growing season, either preventively or in response to identified magnesium and sulphur demand, according to crop requirements and nutritional status.
For foliar application, treatments should be carried out using appropriate spraying equipment and nozzles that produce fine droplets, ensuring uniform leaf coverage and efficient nutrient uptake.
The product is also suitable for soil application, applied either broadcast or localised within the root zone, prior to sowing or planting. It is recommended for use in field crops, vegetables, orchards and nurseries, and is particularly well suited to greenhouses and polytunnels, where it effectively enriches the growing medium with readily available magnesium and sulphur.
In addition, Agravita® Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate is fully compatible with fertigation systems, both in open-field and protected cultivation, allowing precise nutrient delivery and flexible integration into standard crop nutrition programmes.
