Systemic HGA Micronutrient Foliar Fertilisers

Hepta® Zn

Simple inorganic mineral micronutrient fertiliser

in solution containing 5.5% zinc (Zn)

  • 10 l

5.5% zinc (Zn) complexed with heptagluconic acid (HGA), fully water-soluble

Key benefits

Hepta® Zn contains zinc complexed with biodegradable and stable heptagluconic acid (HGA), delivering a highly bioavailable and environmentally compatible source of zinc. Its fully water-soluble formulation ensures uniform application via fertigation or foliar spraying, with no risk of precipitation or nutrient loss.

The product features a systemic mode of action, enabling rapid absorption through both leaves and roots and efficient translocation within the plant. This supports fast correction of zinc deficiency, ensures uniform physiological activity, and promotes balanced growth and development throughout all growth stages.

Supplied in an easily assimilable, bioactive form, Hepta® Zn supports key enzymatic and hormonal processes, including auxin synthesis, contributing to proper root system development and improved uptake of water and nutrients.

Hepta® Zn also enhances tolerance to abiotic stress, particularly low temperatures and drought, while supporting flowering, reproductive development, and yield formation.

The product is characterised by a crop-safe, gentle formulation at an effective concentration, supporting plant vigour, stress resilience, yield potential, and overall crop quality.

Performance highlights

Technology in practice

Hepta® Zn is applied when crops require a fast and highly available zinc source to ensure balanced growth and physiological stability, particularly during early development, intensive growth, flowering, yield formation, and periods of abiotic stress such as cold or drought.

The product is suitable for cereals (wheat, barley, maize), oilseed crops (rapeseed), field crops (sugar beet, soybean), vegetables (onion, bean, lettuce), fruit crops (apple, grapevine), and ornamental plants. Thanks to systemic zinc uptake, Hepta® Zn supports zinc-dependent enzymatic and hormonal processes, strong root development, stress tolerance, and consistent yield and crop quality in foliar and fertigation programmes.

Application recommendations

The product has a density of 1,320 g/l and a pH of 6 at 20 °C, ensuring formulation stability and compatibility with foliar application and fertigation.

For optimal results, apply the fertiliser using spraying equipment and nozzles that produce fine droplets, ensuring uniform crop coverage (fine-spray application). Treatments should be carried out in accordance with Good Agricultural Practice (GAP), with particular attention to weather conditions at the time of application.

Avoid spraying on dry, hot, or sunny days, and do not apply to water-stressed plants, as this may reduce uptake efficiency. The fertiliser can be applied in tank mixes with most fungicides, insecticides, and other fertilisers, provided that standard chemical mixing principles are followed.
