Systemic HGA Micronutrient Foliar Fertilisers

Hepta® Mn

Simple inorganic mineral micronutrient fertiliser

in solution containing 5% manganese (Mn)

  • 10 l

5% manganese (Mn) complexed with heptagluconic acid (HGA)
0.53% nitrogen (N), fully water-soluble

Key benefits

Hepta® Mn contains manganese complexed with biodegradable and stable heptagluconic acid (HGA), delivering a highly bioavailable and environmentally compatible source of manganese. Its fully water-soluble formulation ensures uniform application via fertigation or foliar spraying, with no risk of precipitation or nutrient loss.

The product features a systemic mode of action, enabling rapid absorption through leaves and efficient translocation within the plant, ensuring uniform physiological activity across all tissues and growth stages.

Supplied in an easily assimilable, bioactive form, Hepta® Mn supports key physiological and enzymatic processes, including photosynthesis and the activation of antioxidant enzymes, helping to limit interveinal chlorosis on young leaves.

Hepta® Mn also contributes to increased plant resistance to fungal and bacterial diseases, supporting crop health and performance under variable growing conditions.

The product is characterised by a crop-safe, gentle and environmentally friendly formulation at an effective concentration, supporting plant vigour, resilience, yield potential, and overall crop quality.

Performance highlights

Highly bioavailable manganese, complexed with biodegradable heptagluconic acid (HGA)

Ensures rapid correction of nutrient deficiencies, supporting balanced plant growth and development

Systemic mode of action enabling efficient uptake and translocation throughout the entire plan

Crop-safe, gentle formulation at an effective concentration

Fully water-soluble and easy to apply via foliar spraying

Technology in practice

Hepta® Mn is used when crops require effective manganese nutrition to support stable physiological activity, particularly during active growth stages with a high demand for photosynthesis and enzyme activation.

The product is suitable for cereals (wheat, barley, oats), oilseed crops (rapeseed), field crops (maize, sugar beet), vegetables (pea, onion, spinach), fruit crops (apple, grapevine), and ornamental plants. Thanks to rapid systemic uptake, Hepta® Mn helps maintain healthy green foliage, limits interveinal chlorosis, enhances antioxidant activity, and supports plant vigour, resilience, yield potential, and overall crop quality in both foliar and fertigation programmes.

Application recommendations

The product has a density of 1,322 g/l and a pH of 6.1 at 20 °C, ensuring formulation stability and suitability for foliar application.

For optimal results, apply the fertiliser using spraying equipment and nozzles that produce fine droplets, ensuring uniform crop coverage (fine-spray application). Treatments should be carried out in accordance with Good Agricultural Practice (GAP), with particular attention to weather conditions at the time of application.

Avoid spraying on dry, hot, or sunny days, and do not apply to water-stressed plants, as this may reduce uptake efficiency. The fertiliser can be applied in tank mixes with most fungicides, insecticides, and other fertilisers, provided that standard chemical mixing principles are followed.
