4.5% Copper (Cu) in the form of water-soluble sulfate (= 50 g/l)
Agravita® Cu is a mineral micronutrient fertiliser in solution, containing 4.5% copper (Cu) in a fully water-soluble form, designed for foliar application. It provides readily available copper to support key physiological and metabolic processes in cereals and other crops with copper demand.
Copper plays an essential role in enzymatic reactions and energy metabolism. Adequate copper supply stimulates tillering in cereals and helps prevent the reduction of ear-bearing stems, supporting optimal crop stand density and yield potential.
Agravita® Cu improves plant resistance to abiotic and biotic stress, including low temperatures, fungal pathogens, and lodging, by supporting tissue strength and balanced growth. Proper copper nutrition also helps prevent copper-deficiency disorders in cereals, commonly referred to as “reclamation disease”.
Copper is involved in pollen formation and viability, supporting proper reproductive development. In addition, Agravita® Cu regulates nitrogen translocation from leaves and stems to the grain, contributing to higher protein content and improved gluten quality in cereals.
Liquid formulation for precise and uniform application
Rapid and complete water solubility
High copper concentration in sulphate form
Excellent tank-mix compatibility
Rapid uptake and fast nutritional response
Particularly effective on light, sandy soils and soils rich in organic matter, where copper availability may be limited due to binding by humus compounds. Recommended on soils with pH above 6.5, on poorly aerated soils, and under conditions of soil water deficiency. Use is also advised where high rates of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilisation are applied, as well as when visual symptoms of copper deficiency occur.
