Key benefits

MacroSpeed® Optima Plus is a mineral fertiliser based on a polyhalite-enriched formulation, providing a natural source of potassium (K), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and sulphur (S), complemented by the addition of zinc (Zn). This balanced multi-nutrient composition ensures efficient and well-coordinated crop nutrition throughout the growing season, supporting both macro- and micronutrient requirements.

By optimising the overall nutrient balance, MacroSpeed® Optima Plus enhances nitrogen uptake and utilisation, increasing the efficiency of nitrogen fertilisation. Adequate supplies of magnesium and sulphur support chlorophyll synthesis and protein formation, improving the effectiveness of applied nitrogen and promoting strong, uniform biomass development. The presence of zinc supports enzyme activation, hormone synthesis, and root growth, playing a key role in early crop development and metabolic regulation.

The product supports crops in coping with abiotic stress, particularly soil drought and low temperatures, by maintaining physiological stability, osmotic regulation, and enzyme activity. Potassium regulates water use and turgor, calcium reinforces cell walls and tissue strength, magnesium supports energy transfer, while zinc contributes to stress tolerance and balanced growth processes.

A polyhalite-based nutrient supply, combined with zinc supplementation, strengthens plant tissues, improving resistance to pathogens and lodging and supporting natural defence mechanisms. Balanced nutrition also contributes to slower plant ageing and extended photosynthetic activity, helping crops maintain green leaf area and metabolic efficiency for longer.

Regular use of MacroSpeed® Optima Plus results in a positive yield response and improves key quality parameters of the harvested crop, including size, uniformity, and nutrient composition. In addition, a balanced supply of calcium and potassium, supported by zinc nutrition, enhances the storability of marketable yield, contributing to better post-harvest quality and reduced storage losses.

Performance highlights

Polyhalite-enriched formulation based on a natural mineral source of potassium, calcium, magnesium, and sulphur

Five essential nutrients in one granule: phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), sulphur (S), and zinc (Zn)

Designed for efficient dissolution in water, ensuring rapid nutrient availability and reliable uptake by crops

Uniform, high-quality granules with a bulk density of 1,000–1,200 kg/m³, providing excellent flowability and handling

Consistent and accurate spreading, enabling uniform fertiliser distribution with working widths of up to 36 m using standard fertiliser spreaders

Technology in practice

MacroSpeed® Optima Plus is designed for pre-sowing and top-dressing applications across a wide range of crop species, offering operational flexibility throughout the growing season and easy integration into modern fertilisation programmes. It is particularly effective on soils with low or very low levels of plant-available potassium, as well as in cropping systems with high potassium demand, where a reliable potassium supply is crucial for growth regulation, stress tolerance, and yield development.

The product is supplied in granular form with high physical stability. A uniform granulometry, with 98.3% of granules passing through a 5 mm sieve, ensures even spreading and consistent field coverage, while a bulk density of 1,000–1,200 kg/m³ guarantees good flowability and accurate application using standard fertiliser spreaders.

Application should be aligned with soil analysis results and crop-specific nutrient requirements to ensure efficient potassium management. Under potassium-limiting conditions, MacroSpeed® Optima Plus supports balanced plant nutrition, efficient nutrient uptake, and stable crop performance across a wide range of agronomic environments.

Application recommendations

Granulation: 98.3% of granules pass through a 5 mm sieve, ensuring a uniform particle size and even field distribution.
The bulk density of 1,000–1,200 kg/m³ provides good flowability and enables accurate application with standard fertiliser spreaders.
